We are very proud of two King’s footballers who helped Cheshire to a first round victory in the U16 National Schools Cup.

Congratulations to Imogen Pugh (5FOX) and Farah Younis (4LES) who excelled as a solid centre back pairing for their county in a hard won victory against Lancashire, securing a 2-1 win for Cheshire in the first round of the competition.

Director of Football, Andrew Davies, congratulated them on the win.

He said: “I am so pleased to see Imogen and Farah excelling in their football and playing for Cheshire Schools. They are both great players who are fully committed to their sport, especially here in school. They are also brilliant sporting role models for younger girls and regularly help out with younger age groups.”
